Cleanliness isn’t just about personal habits. It’s more than that. It’s public. It’s collective. It affects health, workplace safety, air quality, how productive people are—and how a community is perceived.
Still, even with all that impact, we rarely see cleanliness—especially when it comes to industrial and environmental sanitation—discussed in schools or debated in policymaking.
At ShenShine Cleaning, we’ve been part of this space for years. We clean homes. We clean businesses. We’ve seen what happens when hygiene is ignored. We’ve seen how unsafe it gets—both for the public and for workers.
But more than that, we’ve seen how little attention is given to the relationship between cleanliness, public health, and environmental consequences.
That’s why we created this scholarship.
We’re offering CAD $750 to a student who’s ready to think critically about cleanliness. Not just as something to do—but as something to understand. As a system. A standard. A policy issue.
