Hansen Leadership Exchange Program 2027

The Hansen Leadership Institute (HLI) is a fully funded three-week leadership programme hosted at the University of San Diego in California, USA, bringing together young leaders from different countries for training in leadership, conflict resolution, human rights, communication and international cooperation. The programme is funded by the Fred J. Hansen Foundation.

Requirements

To be eligible to applyy for the 2027 Hansen Leadership Institute, you must meet several basic requirements:

1. You must be 20-25 years old on July 1, 2027 —  that is, you must be at least 20 and not yet 26 years old on July 1, 2027.
2. You must have completed at least one year of college or university at the time of application.
3. If you are not currently enrolled in college or university, you must be a recent graduate (2025 or 2026 to apply)
