The Mitchell Scholarship funds one year of graduate study in any field in Ireland or Northern Ireland. Applicants will indicate programs of interest at 3-5 universities, out of 10 eligible institutions, and be placed by the Mitchell foundation. Undergraduate applicants must be nominated by Duke to compete for the award.
The scholarship provides funding for the costs associated with graduate study, including tuition, fees, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.
Scholars also gain access to a strong alumni network and ongoing opportunities for networking, collaboration, and advancement.
Applicants must be graduating seniors or recent alumni up to age 30 and U.S. citizens.
