Custom Sock Lab Scholarship Program 2025 for Next Generation of Innovators in Art, Design, and Fashion

At Custom Sock Lab, we are committed to fostering creativity and supporting the next generation of innovators in art, design, and fashion. As part of our mission, each semester (Fall and Spring) we are offering a one-time $250 scholarship award for a new student who demonstrates originality, artistry, and a keen understanding of promotional design through custom sock design. 

We recognize education as a valuable tool for growth and success, and we want to give back to hardworking students pursuing their dreams. This scholarship is open to art, design, or fashion students who are passionate about expressing their creativity through functional products.

Benefits

Requirements

Students must be a senior in high school or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited institution, pursuing a degree in art, design, fashion, or a related field.

Interview Dates and Process

Submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:

1. Creativity and Originality: How unique and innovative is the design?
2. Technical Skill: Does the design showcase strong design skills, including composition, color, and digital execution?
3. Marketing Insight (if applicable): Does the essay clearly explain how the sock design can be used to promote sales?

*We will notify the winner via email by Wednesday January 14th, 2026. Please respond within 7 days, or our team will choose another winner. 

Application Deadline

How To Apply

1. Applicants are required to create a sock design using the sock template provided on our website. The design should reflect their personal creativity or demonstrate how the design could promote sales of the product.
2. Along with the sock design, applicants must submit a brief essay (300-500 words) that either explains the inspiration behind their design or outlines how they would use this design in a real-world marketing campaign to promote sales.
3. Send your sock design and essay to <[email protected]> as attached PDF files along with the following details:

  • Your expected graduation date (for high school seniors only)
