University of California (UC) Berkeley awards up to 2 postdoctoral fellows to take residence at Berkeley to carry out research related to natural resources. This fellowship is put on by UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources. Two types of fellowships with one as a one-year postdoctoral award renewable for a second year and the other as a one-year award to support a professional or sabbatical leave from an academic or professional position, without option to renew. Fellows are expected to give seminars on their research and interact with other fellows.
Stipend: Stipend of $66,737 per year and $2,000 for research-related expenses and travel fare.
Applicants must have received PhD within the last 10 years. OR, are about to receive a PhD. Open to scholars from any social science discipline, and related professional fields such as law and planning. For advanced research in natural resources (including environmental resources). Preference will be given to proposals whose orientation is broadly institutional and/or historical, and which are conceptually and theoretically innovative. Cover letter. CV. Abstract.
