Mrs. Loraine W. Zirkle attended the University in the late 1960s. Upon her death in October 1983, she donated part of her estate to the University of Virginia Alumni Association to create an endowed scholarship to benefit incoming students from the Rockingham Harrisonburg Alumni Chapter region.
Scholarship cover up to $4,500
Recipients of this scholarship demonstrate leadership, scholarship, citizenship and financial need.
