The A.P. Giannini Foundation offers 10 fellowships, supporting researchers in the field of biomedical science for up to 3 years. This research in the basic sciences and applied fields is designed for fellowship recipients to become established investigators. Fellowship recipients ought to have interest in biomedical research and treatment of human diseases.

Benefits

Stipend: The current stipend is $70,000 for each of the three years.

Requirements

Must hold a Ph.D., M.D.,M.D./Ph.D or equivalent degree before activating the fellowship. No less than 3 months of postdoctoral research experience. No more than 3 years of postdoctoral research experience. Must arrange sponsorship at one of California's accredited medical schools before applying and the mentorship of a principal investigator at that accredited medical school. 3 people who will submit a letter of reference. Bibliography. Personal statement. Statement of proposed research.
