Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Fellowship at University of Southern California 2025

Allergan and USC have teamed up to offer a 1-year fellowship for cutting-edge postdoctoral students in the areas of pharmacokinetics and drug disposition. This initiative will focus on the translational sciences efforts within the department. The fellow will be receive experiential learning opportunities in the translation of nonclinical data and existing clinical data to guide dose regimen selection for future clinical activities. As part of the training program the fellow will mine existing clinical data to guide non-clinical model development in an effort to better predict human response. This fellowship is intended to enhance the postdoctoral research training of the applicant through providing hands-on training in the application of pharmacokinetic and drug disposition principles and modeling techniques to better characterize the PK/PD relationship understanding for Allergan programs. Allergan is a health care and pharmaceutical company. This fellowship offers access to University of Southern California Regulatory Science courses.

Benefits

Stipend: A yearly stipend of approximately $51,000. Professional liability insurance provided at affiliated institutional sites. Tuition remission for 4 units per semester at USC. Supportive funding fellows to attend professional conferences and events.

Requirements

To be admitted to the USC School of Pharmacy’s fellowship program, you must have obtained: A PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent doctorate degree from an accredited college or university within five years of initial appointment. Attend USC Regulatory Science courses/workshops. An interest in biopharmaceutical industry.
