Paul A. Volcker Government Internship 2026

The Paul A. Volcker Government Internship Award provides a $3,000 stipend to students and recent graduates who are pursuing an internship or fellowship in the United States government. Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the award:

• Secured a government internship in the United States, AND

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, with preference given to juniors and seniors; or

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program; or

• Graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program within the past two years

Priority is given to applicants who have historically faced barriers to accessing internships or paid internship opportunities, including first-generation students, nontraditional students, and Pell Grant recipients.
