Nika Nikopour Foundation Scholarship at California State University - Fullerton 2025

Through a gift to the Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Foundation, the Nika Nikopour Foundation established this scholarship to support students who have demonstrated a commitment or interest in social action within their local community. This scholarship specifically aims to promote inclusion, anti-bullying, and/or suicide prevention efforts.

Amount: $1,600 (Two scholarships will be awarded)

Requirements

Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment as a current student at CSU Fullerton.
• Good academic standing with the University.
• Demonstrated financial need (students must verify a family income of less than $60,000).
• Demonstrated academic promise with a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated a commitment or interest in social action within their local community to promote inclusion, anti-bullying, and/or suicide prevention.
• Preference will be given to students pursuing careers in Music, Science, or Behavioral Science.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

1. Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” app on the left-hand side. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the "Spring 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application," including the "Involvement in Extracurricular Activities" section.
2. Check the box for the statement:

• "I have demonstrated a commitment or interest in social action within my local community to promote inclusion, anti-bullying, and/or suicide prevention."

3. In the "Attachments" section, respond to one of the following prompts:

• Describe what challenges you have overcome in spite of bullying, feelings of social isolation, and/or suicidal ideation.
• Describe your ideas for new school or community programs that may aid in inclusion and reduction of bullying and/or suicide.
