The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) offers up to 45 postdoc fellowships for 1-3 years to scholars to work in Navel Research Labs across the US. Fellows will participate in scientific and engineering research of interest to the Navy. This research must be conducted at a participating Naval center or laboratory. NRL still occupies its original site on the Potomac River in Washington, DC. Additional facilities are located at Stennis Space Center, MS; Monterey, CA; and other support facilities and field-experiment sites throughout Maryland and Virginia.
Stipend: Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. 79,000-97,000 depending on region.
Applicants must develop a suitable research proposal with a participating facility and be eligible for a security clearance. Must have received a PhD, Sc.D. or equivalent, within the last 7 years or about to receive one. Research proposal. Transcripts.
