MCNY Recognition Award Scholarship at Metropolitan College of New York 2025

Graduate students scholarships are based on $100 of grant/scholarship per credit as of Academic Year 2024-25, There are a number of grants and scholarships available to help MCNY students pay for college. Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit or a combination of both and do not require repayment. Both fulltime and part-time students are eligible for MCNY scholarships, however part time students receive grants/scholarships pro-rated based on the number of credits for which a student is registered below full time status.

Benefits

Scholarship ranges from $3600 to $4,500 max and Scholarship per semester is calculated on the number of registered credits at $100 per credit, with exception of MSED 46 credit program which award is maximized at $4500.

Requirements

• In order to receive this award, one [1] of the following criteria must be met:
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate degree or previous masters degree
    • or
  • Resume shows substantial related experience to degree program (determined by Admissions Team)
• Must complete Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) (International students exempted
• Students must be registered for the semester to obtain the scholarship.
• This scholarship may not be combined with any other MCNY institutional scholarship.
