Awarding a total of $18,000 for up to two years of school, the Little Bird Scholarship provides a measure of financial stability to undergraduate students who are both LGBTQ+ or intersex and immigrants or newcomers, including refugees and individuals seeking or granted asylum.
The application consists of 2-3 short essay questions, a letter of recommendation, and transcripts from your current academic institution. There is no minimum GPA requirement.

To be eligible, applicants must:
be enrolled at an accredited, nonprofit school in New York City;
be rising juniors or seniors; and
be an immigrant or newcomer
