Benefits

Scholarship recipients receive a one-time award of $2,500 to be used towards educational expenses at community college, technical college, universities, and trade or graduate school. Students are eligible for one Sea Mar Scholarship at the undergraduate level, and one Sea Mar Scholarship at the graduate level.

Requirements

  • High school/GED graduate or college graduate of Latino/a Heritage.
  • Planning to enroll in at least 10 credits per quarter in an institute of higher education during the 2026 - 2027 academic year.**
  • Demonstrates a history of advocacy, responsibility, accountability, and perseverance.
  • Demonstrates a sense of obligation in improving or advancing the community.
  • Exhibit financial need due to individual/family hardship.
  • Your immigration status does not affect your eligibility
