Selected for their community involvement, leadership, academic success, and commitment to addressing poverty alleviation, King-Morgridge Scholars join us from secondary institutions around the globe. Requirements

Eligibility requirements:

  • Incoming first-year, undergraduate, Bachelor’s degree-seeking students.
  • Students must apply “Early Action” to UW-Madison.
  • Graduated from high schools/secondary schools in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin American, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
  • Applicants must be first-generation students who demonstrate a high level of financial need.
  • Applicants must be within three years of receipt of high school diploma or GED.

NO Late applications will be accepted for any reason. We suggest applying early to avoid any technical or other issues. Review of applications will begin after deadline passes.
