Jesse W. Fell Scholarship at Illinois State University 2026

The Jesse W. Fell Scholarship is our most prestigious award available to new freshmen. Freshmen who meet the criteria for the Fell Scholarship and apply for admission by our priority deadline of November 1 will be invited to apply for this award via email.

Up to $48,000 (up to $12,000 per year, renewable for up to three additional years).

3.75+ cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale

• Submit your scholarship application by December 15 – we'll send it to you after you're admitted

• Finalists are required to participate in an interview

• Award winners are announced in early springNot selected? Students who complete the Jesse W. Fell Scholarship process but are not selected will automatically be awarded an enhanced Redbird Academic Scholarship. Please note, students cannot receive both the Fell and Redbird Academic Scholarships.
