The IBM Watson Research Center, Business Analytics and Math Sci Dept offers up to 2 yearlong awards for postdocs to carry out math and comp sci research in NY. The award lasts for one year, but is renewable for a second year. The department fosters an atmosphere in which research in applied math and exploratory computer science is combined with work on technical problems occurring in industry. The fellowship provides scientists of outstanding ability an opportunity to advance their scholarship as resident department members at the Research Center, located in Yorktown, Westchester County, near New York City.
Stipend: Stipend is between $95,000 and $115,000, depending on the area and length of experience. Additional allowance for moving expenses will be provided.
Candidates must have received a PhD degree within the last 5 years or should expect to receive one before the fellowship commences. Research will be carried out in the mathematical and computer sciences. CV. Abstract of PhD dissertation.
