Crankstart Scholarship at California State University - Fullerton 2025

The Crankstart Scholarship was created to support California community college transfer students who are continuing their education at California State University, Fullerton. This scholarship helps offset the cost of tuition and fees for students who demonstrate financial need.

Amount: Varies with a maximum award of $2,500

Requirements

Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment as a junior or senior undergraduate student at CSU Fullerton.
• Transferred from a California community college within the last four years.
• Demonstrated financial need, specifically unmet tuition and/or fees, as determined by the 2025–26 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
• Must not receive full coverage of tuition and fees from other aid sources (e.g., Cal Grant, State University Grant, fee waivers). Award amounts will be based on verified unmet tuition and/or fees.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

1. Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” app on the left-hand side. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the "Spring 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application."
2. On the first page of the Student Application, select the following student group if applicable:

• “I transferred from a California Community College within the last 4 years.”
