The Clay Postdoctoral Fellowship supports 4 years of original research at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CFA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The fellowship is also offered by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. Applicants are expected to pursue research programs of their own conception and design, and are expected to demonstrate their capability for original research through several first-author refereed publications in major astronomy journals. The fellowship will begin in July or September. The Clay Fellow presents a research talk before the entire CfA community in early spring of their first year followed by a private reception.
Stipend: Stipend of $82,500 with an annual cost-of-living adjustment. Research budget of $18,000 for each year
