Cecil B. Thompson Scholarship at California State University - Fullerton 2025

 This scholarship was established by Michael Dannan to recognize and honor adult reentry students returning to college after an extended absence.  This scholarship is a tribute to Cecil B. Thompson, a former CSUF Economics faculty member who inspired Michael Dannan during his time at CSUF.

Requirements

Open to students who meet the following criteria:

• One academic year remaining in your program

• GPA of 2.7 or above

• Adult re-entry student with an absence from school of at least 5 years

• Must be enrolled in Spring 2026

How To Apply

1. Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” app on the left-hand side. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the "Spring 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application."

2. On the first page of the Student Application, select the following student group if it applies to you:

    

   • I identify as an Adult Reentry student (a person who is returning to school after being away from the academic world for 5 years or more).
