The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) offers 5-year awards to postdoctoral scholars for research on leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. These fellowships are for the length of three or five years depending on experience in research training. The fellowships supports basic, clinical or translational research to help understand and treat hematologic malignancies and relevant premalignant conditions. There are three phases for the Career Development Program application: eligibility, abstracts, and full application. The deadline for the eligibility stage is September 1.
Stipend: Awards include stipends ranging from $70,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Applicants must hold a PhD or MD at time grant is to become effective. Applicants must be affiliated with a non-profit Sponsoring Institution at the time funding is to commence. Open to scholars pursuing careers in basic, clinical, and translational research on leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. Project summary. Budget. Biographical sketch. 3 letters of recommendation: at least 2 of the 3 letters must be from individuals outside the Sponsoring Institution.
