Boster Bio Scholarship 2025

Boster is proud to provide an annual scholarship to graduate students working in biological research labs. The Boster Bio Scholarships for Scientists Of Excellence will select an awardee based on the merit and influence of his or her research.

Benefits

One scholarship of $1,000 USD will be awarded annually

Requirements

• 1. Applicants must provide proof that they are graduate students currently working in a biology or related lab.

• 2. Candidates must obtain and submit a letter of recommendation from his or her Principle Investigator or a funding sponsor (must be signed and on letterhead to be accepted).

• 3. The deadline to apply is Nov 30 every year. The winner will be announced by December 30, and funds will be sent by check.

How To Apply

This scholarship is designed to recognize and support exceptional graduate students, particularly those enrolled in Master's or PhD programs, who have demonstrated outstanding research contributions and a significant impact on the academic community. To apply, please follow the instructions below:

1. Proof of Research Involvement
   Submit documentation that confirms your current enrollment as a graduate student (Master's or PhD) actively conducting academic research. This may include a letter from your advisor, a copy of your enrollment status, or evidence of your research project's approval by your institution.

2. Research Achievements
   Provide a comprehensive overview of your research contributions, including:

   • A summary of your most significant project(s), explaining its importance and implications for the field.
   • Links to published research articles, conference proceedings, or presentations in peer-reviewed academic platforms.
   • • Any awards, recognitions, or patents related to your research.

   • Impact Statement
     Write a 300-word essay detailing how your research has influenced the academic community and its broader impact on society. Include specific examples of how your work has been cited, utilized, or built upon by others in your field.

   • Letters of Recommendation
     Provide one letter of recommendation from established academics or researchers who are familiar with your work. The letter should highlight your research excellence, impact, and potential for continued contributions to the field. Letters must be signed and on official letterhead.

   • Academic Excellence
     Include your most recent transcript showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale.

   • Application Deadline
     All materials must be submitted by November 30 each year. The scholarship recipient will be announced by December 30, and funds will be disbursed shortly thereafter.
