Birdina Gregg Annual Scholarship 2026

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient must be an persistent member of the EIU Campus Democrats (RSO) with a record of involvement in that organization as well as in the local Democratic party and some combination of community and university service.
2. The recipient must be a full-time student enrolled at EIU as a sophomore, junior, or senior with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
3. Financial need is not a consideration and the recipient may receive the award more than once if he/she continues to meet criteria.
4. The recipient must apply for the award through the prescribed application process, which will include a requirement for providing two letters of recommendation.
5. The award shall be announced in the Fall and paid in the Spring.
