Barkhordarian Law Firm is pleased to announce its scholarship program designed to support the education of undergraduate students pursuing law or related fields of study. Our firm is committed to recognizing and fostering the unique potential of each student, emphasizing Confidence, Courage, and Determination throughout their academic journey.One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to help cover tuition, academic fees, and other educational expenses. Recipients are responsible for complying with all applicable IRS and state tax requirements. Full application and award details are outlined below.
Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and related academic expenses, including living costs, books, and supplies.
A $1,000 check will be issued directly to the selected recipient(s).
Recipients must comply with all IRS and state tax requirements and may be asked to submit receipts or proof of how funds were used.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email and/or phone by August 2026, and the award will be distributed in September 2026.
Selected recipients must consent to the use of their name and likeness for publicity purposes and provide a video acceptance at the time of the award announcement for marketing use.
To qualify, applicants must:
Be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
Provide proof of acceptance into an accredited undergraduate program in pre-law or a related field, or proof of acceptance and enrollment in an accredited law school for the Fall of 2026.
Demonstrate strong academic performance with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the undergraduate level.
All applications must be submitted via email by August 1, 2026, with all required documents attached in PDF format.

Applicants must submit the following materials by August 1, 2026:
A current, complete resume.
A 500–1,000-word essay, typed and single-spaced in 12-point font, discussing a topic relevant to their intended legal practice.
Certified, up-to-date school transcripts: high school transcripts for incoming college freshmen or college transcripts for current students.
An acceptance letter from a U.S.-accredited college or law school.
Proof of legal residency in the United States (e.g., birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card).
