Minnesota State University Moorhead International Students Scholarships in United States 2026

Minnesota State Moorhead offers 300+ college scholarships based on a variety of factors, including academic achievement, diversity, financial need and talent. These scholarships are available for enrolled international students to apply for between October 1 and February 1 with one simple application. These scholarships are courtesy of Moorhead Foundation offers scholarships gifted by alumni, businesses, friends and foundations. Many of these scholarships are available through individual departments, colleges and programs.

Requirements

  • Students applying for a scholarship need to meet eligibility criteria such as full-time enrollment, maintaining a certain GPA, major, year in college or financial need.
  • Scholarships require full-time enrollment (12+ credits per semester) unless otherwise noted in the application criteria.
  • Renewable scholarships may have GPA requirements, but do not require annual applications. Automatic scholarships are awarded for the semester and/or year specified or until you graduate, whichever comes first. Failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in loss of scholarship funds.
  • Scholarships are not transferable to another institution.
  • Federal regulations prevent a student from receiving financial aid, including scholarships, that exceeds the University's cost of attendance. Financial aid awards are adjusted in some instances.

How To Apply

  1. Prospective students need to be admitted to Minnesota State Moorhead before you can apply for scholarships.
  2. Use the scholarship search page or check department and academic program pages to see what scholarships are available.
  3. During the scholarship application period (October 1 - February 1) log in to the online scholarship application using two-factor authentication with your [email protected] and password.
  4. Complete the essay questions.
  5. Some scholarships may require you to attach supplemental application materials.
  6. Submit your online application before 11:59 PM on February 1.
