2025 College of Business Endowed Scholarship at Governors State University

Established by the College's Student Advisory Board and funded through a variety of student-sponsored fundraising activities.  

The scholarship was designed to both stimulate and reward academic excellence in College of Business students who demonstrate a commitment to the college and a promise of leadership.

Requirements

• Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5

• Must carry a minimum of 6 hours in COB.

• Must be a resident of the State of Illinois.

• Must have completed at least 12 graded hours at GSU.

•  Essay minimum 500 words addressing your commitment to community service and leadership activities. Also discuss your commitment to achieving your degree.

• Two appropriate letters of recommendation which affirm the applicant’s service commitment and describe his/her leadership qualities are to accompany the application.
